On not writing the paper or reading the books that I should be on a Friday night.

But I'm trying to find–somewhere, anywhere!–a copy of the poem "The Astonished Heart" by Lawrence Ferlinghetti. I know it has the lines

there is a great crowded bluff
in Lawrence Kansas
that looks a long way
into the astonished heart of America.

And thus I must have it and read it and cherish it. This is so much more important than the role of globalization on US foreign policy.

this is the most chance happening, however I ran across your blog when looking for a copy of the poem astonished heart by lawrence ferlinghetti... i like what you write, are you from lawrence?

Did you ever find a copy of it, one maybe that you could send me? I was instructed to read it at the Fresh Ink Poetry spoken word tomorrow night up at the jazzhaus, so you should come, if you do indeed live in lawrence. Meanwhile I'm going to work on finding a copy of it before tomorrow night (wednesday)

also, you posted this post at 8:43, which is my time ironically. Long story, but it is the epitome of my favorite number. sorry to be creepy, I'm just fascinated by synchronicity.

i don't usually use this blog sight, so if you need/want to respond, email me at sara.serendip@gmail.com

thankya
